If you are in need of your interest certificate then you can easily download it online. This can be done with the help of the internet banking service of the State Bank of India.

What is Interest Certificate?

An interest Certificate is a certificate that is issued by the bank to the customers. This certificate tells about the amount of interest that the bank has paid to the customer.

Here we are talking about the interest you have earned on your savings bank and deposit accounts like FD and RD.

Is this the Same as Loan Interest Certificate?

No, this is not the same as the loan interest certificate. This is the opposite of that. In the case of a deposit interest certificate, you get the details of the interest you have earned from the bank.

Whereas in the case of the loan interest certificate, you get the details of the interest amount that you have paid to the bank.

Some of the examples of loan interest certificates are home loan interest certificates and education loan interest certificates.

Will the Bank Charge me to Download this Certificate?

No, the bank will not charge you anything for this certificate if you are downloading it online. In both cases either you use internet banking or mobile banking. You won’t be charged anything.

A deposit interest certificate can be used to get the details of the interest amount that you have earned. You can view or download this certificate using the internet banking portal of the State Bank of India.

  1. Visit the Official Website of the State Bank of India.

    When you want to use the internet banking services of the SBI. The first thing you have to do is visit the official website of the bank. Always keep in mind you can not access your account using any of the third-party websites. So make sure that you never enter your account details on any website that is not owned and operated by the bank.Visit the Official Website of State Bank of India

  2. Click on the Login button.

    The next thing you have to do is click on the “Login” button. You can find this button on the homepage of the official website of the State Bank of India.Click on the Login Button on Homepage of SBI Online

  3. Enter your Username, Password, and Solve the Captcha.

    A new webpage will be opened in your browser where you will be asked to enter login details. Now enter your username and password. After that, solve the captcha and click on the “Login” button.Enter Your Internet Banking Account Details and Click on the Login Button

  4. Enter the OTP Received on Registered Mobile Number.

    When you enter your login details correctly. The bank will send you an OTP on your registered mobile number. This is a part of the 2-factor authentication that SBI uses.   5. Click on e-Services.

    As soon as you enter the correct OTP and click on the “Submit” button. You will be taken to the internet banking dashboard of SBI. Now click on “e-Services” which can be found in the top menu bar.Click on e-Services in the Top Menu Bar of SBI Online

  6. Click on My Certificates.

    You will get a list of all the electronic services or e-Services. Select “My Certificates” from the list.Click on My Certificates

  7. Click on Interest Certificate on Deposit A/Cs.

    All the certificates related to your bank accounts will be displayed to you. Now click on “Interest Certificate on Deposit A/Cs”.Click on Interest Certificate for Deposits Accounts

  8. Click on View/Download in PDF.

    Your interest certificate will be loaded in your web browser. Now if you wish to download or save it locally on your computer. Then click on the “View/Download in PDF” link.Click on View/Download in PDF Button
